An RFP has been issued for The KNIGHTS LANDING Tower installation project. Please see the below RFP packet for further details regarding this project.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Yolo Emergency Communications Agency (YECA) will receive sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of the Public Contract Code from contractors licensed for the furnishing of all labor, specified materials, equipment, transportation and services for the performance of the following Scope of Work and Services.

YOLO COUNTY KNIGHTS LANDING TOWER PROJECT RFP
Sealed bids will be received by the Yolo Emergency Communications Agency (YECA) for the construction of a YECA provided 88-foot communications tower and equipment shelter foundation in Knights Landing. Bids will be accepted at YECA, 35 N. Cottonwood St. Woodland, CA 95695, until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 17, 2010. Bids will be publicly opened in the YECA Conference Room immediately following the closing.
A MANDATORY pre-bid site walk will be conducted at 9:00 a.m. on September 10, 2010 at Ridge Cut Rd/Locust St. in Knights Landing. Job specifications, site plans, and bid documents for submitting a proposal are available for download below. Bid documents only, are available at www.bidsync.com. Site plan drawings can be purchased through Signature Reprographics, www.planroom.us/yeca.
Bidders must possess current Contractor Class B, C7, C8, C10, & C51 licenses and have experience installing communications towers and must warrant that tower worker’s are certified to climb towers and provide proof of training and certification with their bid.
